Indoor Soccer

We will be participating in the 1st and 3rd indoor soccer sessions at Let's Play on Constitution. We have 2 teams for the first session and it kicks off the week of Nov. 3rd.  If you are interested in playing the 3rd session, Jan. - Feb., please drop me a line in Dec. Looking forward to getting things going again!

Uniform Check In

Both Varsity and JV will complete uniform check in on Monday May 21st at 2:30. Please meet me in the small gym.

Playoffs

Rampart seeded #16 in the state. We are granted home field advantage for the first time in Rampart Soccer history for the 1st round of playoffs. We meet #17 seed Standley Lake Wednesday May 9th. Kickoff is 5:00 pm.  GO RAMS!!!!

Varsity Takes 2nd in League

Great coverage in the Gazette this morning on the 1-0 win against Doherty. The girl's have received 2nd in League and a playoff birth. I cannot be prouder of their dedication, commitment, hard work, and sacrifice. Let's continue to show that we are a team to be talking about!

Season Comes to an End

Congratulations JV for a competitive season. Way to go out on top with a 6-0 win over Discovery Canyon.  Look for dates for uniform check in.

THE GAZETTE

Sizing up the area's top teams:

5A

1. Pine Creek (5-1-1)
2. Rampart (3-3-1)
3. Liberty (3-4-1)

OBSERVATIONS: Not a whole lot has been revealed about the 5A Metro. Rampart tied Pine Creek in its league opener and Palmer and Doherty played to a scoreless tie as well. Liberty has seen tough competition and is sitting just one game under .500. This picture should be a lot clearer in about two weeks.

Results

A great result last night against Pueblo County. JV won 1-0 and Varsity won 6-0. Having a little fun with the girl's walking up to order Sonic.  Great job girl's!

Team Pictures

On Friday 4/6 at 2:45 pm, Colorado Classic Images will be taking team and individual pictures for both teams. I will hand out the package information and order form on Wed. 4/4 to the girls to bring home. Please bring both sets of uniforms, including full warm up suit and game socks.

Finals Kadet Kickoff 2012

Congrats!!!!

Congratulations to Varsity on taking 2nd place in the Kadet Kickoff. I am proud of the girl's for their efforts and obvious improvement. It is always tough to play 2 aggressive, intense, hard fought games in one day. The girl's should be very proud of themselves for their performance and no matter how frustrated they were, they never quit.  This is only the beginning, let's keep working hard in becoming a better unit and as individuals. We have a tough week ahead of us with 3 games starting with Pine Creek on Tuesday.

All players and at least one parent are required to attend the meeting.  See everyone tomorrow.

Scrimmage Update!

Registration for Soccer is Feb. 6th - Feb. 23rd. The athletic fee is $95. Please go to our Rampart Athletic home page to get all the information you need to register.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Varsity will participate in our first scrimmage on March 3rd at Pine Creek. I will bring a few JV/swinger players to participate as well. Below is our schedule.

9:00-9:35 a.m.        Vista Ridge on Turf Field
10:20-10:55 a.m.    CSCS on Turf Field
11:40-12:15 a.m.    Sand Creek on Lower Grass
1:00-1:35 p.m.        Ponderosa on Practice Field
2:20-2:50 p.m.        Chaparral on Practice Field

Please be responsible and bring healthy snacks, recovery drinks like Gatorade, and water.

Varsity and JV will be scrimmaging Mesa Ridge @ Mesa Ridge on Tuesday March 6th at 4:00 p.m. The Athletic meeting for parents and players will follow after the scrimmage at Rampart HS beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Training Time Change

We will start training at 2:45 and end between 4:00 and 4:15.  This will give you more time after school to be dressed and ready. It was great to see most of you this afternoon.

Pre-Season Training
